A week from today, Downtown St. Louis celebrates what I believe to be a local holiday, the St. Louis Cardinals home opener! In the wake of a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs last night, I can’t wait for the boys to be back in town on Monday to take on the Milwaukee Brewers!

flatAlthough we’re all very excited about Monday, did you know that the Cardinals are running a fun season-long contest, called #FlatFreddy? Upload a picture with Flat Freddy on Instagram showing how you cheer on the Cardinals and include ‪#‎FlatFreddy in the post for the chance to win two tickets to an upcoming game! Click here for rules and for the chance to win prizes all season long!

Now, back to THE MOST IMPORTANT topic, the home opener! Next Monday, some very lucky fans will attend the game at Busch Stadium, while other (still lucky) fans can enjoy the game at any of Downtown’s sports bars!

Below are a few of my favorite spots in Downtown, where the drinks flow well past the bottom of the 7th!
