Downtown Street Alert

This weekend, streets and highway ramps in Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods will be impacted due to the Mardi Gras Grand Parade.

If you’re planning on coming down to enjoy all the festivities, take a shuttle from Downtown to Soulard on Saturday.

  • Metro will operate a shuttle from the Civic Center MetroLink Station to 10th  Street between Carroll and Marion Streets from 9 am-11 pm.
  • Laclede’s Landing will also have a shuttle between 2nd Street and Laclede’s Landing Boulevard and 2nd  Street and Lafayette from 8 am-2 am.

Saturday, February 6th
Begins at 7th Street and Cerre at 11 am

Parade Route: (Purple Line Above) Participants will assemble on 7th Street at Cerre, proceed south to Chouteau, east to Broadway, south to merge onto northbound lanes of 7th Street, continue south on 7th Street to Sidney and disband south on Broadway past Arsenal.

    • Ramp Closed at 7th Street and Park Northbound 55 Exit 208
    • Ramp Closed at 7th Street and Park Southbound 55 Exit 208
    • Ramp Closed at 6th Street Eastbound 64/40 Exit 40B
  • 7:00 am
    • Parade Route Closed to Vehicular Traffic
    • 6th Street Closed from Cerre to Gratiot
    • Clark Street Closed from 8th Street to Broadway
  • 9:00 am
    • Ramp Closed at Arsenal Northbound 55 Exit 206C
  • 11:00 am
    • Grand Parade Begins
  • 1:00 pm
    • Ramp Closed at Gravois/Russell Northbound 55 Exit 207A

All streets and ramps impacted by the Grand Parade will reopen at the discretion of the Police
