Downtown Street Alert

This weekend, streets and highway ramps in Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods will be impacted due to the Mardi Gras Grand Parade (2/25).

If you’re planning on coming down to enjoy all the festivities, take a shuttle from Downtown to Soulard on Saturday.

  • Metro will operate a shuttle from the Stadium MetroLink Station to 10th Street between Carroll Street and Marion Street from 9 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Laclede’s Landing will also have a shuttle between 2nd Street and Laclede’s Landing Boulevard and 2nd Street and Lafayette Avenue from 8 a.m.-12 a.m.

Saturday, February 25th
Begins at 7th Street and Cerre Street at 11 a.m.

Parade Route (Green Line): Participants will assemble on 7th Street at Cerre Street, proceed south to Chouteau Avenue, east to Broadway, south to merge onto northbound lanes of 7th Street, continue south on 7th Street to Sidney Street and disband south on Broadway past Arsenal Street.

    • No parking along parade route
    • No parking on Russell Boulevard from 13th Street to Gravois Avenue
    • No parking on 13th Street from Russell Boulevard to Gravois Avenue
    • No parking on Broadway from Russell Boulevard to Marion Street
  • 6:00 a.m.
    • Ramp closed at 3200 Broadway northbound 55 exit 206B
    • Ramp closed at 7th Street and Park Avenue northbound 55 exit 208
    • Ramp closed at 7th Street and Park Avenue southbound 55 exit 208
    • Ramp closed at 6th Street eastbound 64/40 exit 40B
  • 7:00 a.m.
    • Parade route closed to vehicular traffic
    • 6th Street closed from Cerre Street to Gratiot Street
    • Clark Street closed from 8th Street to Broadway
  • 9:00 a.m.
    • Ramp closed at Arsenal Street northbound 55 exit 206C
  • 11:00 a.m.
    • Grand parade begins
  • 1:00 p.m.
    • Ramp closed at Gravois Avenue/Russell Boulevard northbound 55 exit 207A

All streets and ramps impacted by the Grand Parade will reopen at the discretion of the police
